Q and A time.
I get some interesting questions from my clients. Every week or so I will do my best to answer some of the more interesting and informative ones.
When it comes to portraits or family group sessions, everyone wants to know... "what should I wear??????"
Well that really depends on the mood of the shot. Dressy, formal, casual. These days most group/family shoots are casual, outside (and those are my favorite). No matter what the occasion, simple is usually better. The less distracting the better. The focus (pun intended!) should be on the subject's face, eyes and expression. It's all about YOU! Of course there are exceptions to every rule and I love to break them, but generally speaking... keeping it simple really works. Here's an example of a sweet family shot from last summer. No one is looking at the camera, but you can still feel the family connection. That's what it's all about.
